Nancy (Martin) Lee, 65, of Enfield, entered into eternal life on Monday May 1, 2017. She was the beloved wife of 38 years to Robert E. Lee. Nancy was born on June 17, 1951 in Hartford, CT, daughter of Nelson Martin and the late Christine (Ouellette) Martin. Nancy was a graduate of East Hartford High School and was a resident of East Hartford before moving to Enfield where she resided for the past 31 years. She worked as a Para-Professional in the Special Education Program at Enfield High School for over 10 years and with Heublein, Inc, Hartford. She was a coach for the Enfield Girls Softball League and volunteered for Enfield High J.V. Softball for many years. She was very proud of her daughters, had a passion for skiing, the ocean, animals and children.
In addition to her husband Robert and father Nelson, she is also survived by her two loving daughters; Jessica Lee and husband David Lemasa of Glastonbury, Christine Lee of Malden, MA, and her grandson; Christopher Lemasa. She is also survived by her siblings; Steve Martin & wife Beverly of Guilford, CT, Sharon Szestakow & husband Will of South Windsor, CT and Dean Martin & wife Sandy of Chandler, AZ, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Besides her mother Christine, she was also predeceased by a sister, Betty Jean Spencer.
Her family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday May 7, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Funeral Services will take place on Monday May 8, 2017 with the funeral procession forming at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to Holy Family Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford, CT. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association CT Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd. Ste. 4B, Southington CT 06489.
