Beverly A. (Riley) Hosey, 77, of Enfield, died peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born and educated in Springfield, Beverly was the daughter of the late Cyril J. and Ruby E. (Kidder) Riley. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Beverly had resided in Enfield for over fifty years and was active with the Living Waters Fellowship Church in Windsor Locks. Beverly was an avid fan of UCONN Women’s Basketball and enjoyed reading in her leisure time. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, James I. Hosey; her children, Linda Zamal and her husband, Jay of Windsor Locks, James Hosey and his wife, Regina of Eddyville, KY; her former daughter-in-law, Karen Fortini of Conway, SC; six grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob and Joshua Zamal, Nichelle, Ryan and Sean Hosey; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Steven and Joan Sabol of Southwick, MA and William and Louise Hosey of Surprise, AZ; along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral services in celebration of Beverly’s life will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, followed by burial in Hazardville Cemetery. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, CT 06082.
