Albina T. (Kozikowski) Falkowski, 90, beloved wife of the late Leon Falkowski, died peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Chicopee, Massachusetts, Albina was the daughter of the late Dominic and Frances (Sitnik) Kozikowski. Albina had resided in Enfield for sixty-three years and was a communicant of St. Bernard Church. She and her late husband, Leon were active with the Enfield Historical Society. In her leisure time, Albina enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking and baking for her family. She also enjoyed listening and dancing to Polka music. Albina is survived by her children, Richard A. Falkowski and his wife, Joan of Orlando, FL, Cynthia A. Falkowski of Norwich and Linda T. Gauthier and her husband, Matthew of Enfield; her grandchildren, Kristen Tsardakas, Wende Canarte, and Andrew Falkowski; great grandchildren, Alexis, Nicholas, Brooke, Jordan, and Joshua; and many nephews and nieces. Family and friends will gather on Thursday, October 20, 2016 by 9:00 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels for a procession to St. Bernard Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. Albina’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, CT 06082.
