She was a communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church in Enfield, CT. She had a keen sense of humor and was most happy in the presence of her family, visits to the beach and enjoyed occasional visits to the casino with her friends. Mary was an avid reader and loved to garden. She was full of life, whip-quick dry wit, a wonderful and fearless sense of adventure, and the occasional bit of salty language, always neat as a pin. She traveled extensively and had an engaging, funny story about anything and everything. She was the ultimate matriarch in our family, and we all loved her with fierce, unwavering conviction.
