Obituary for Elaine M. Williams (Wolodko)
Elaine M. (Wolodko) Williams, 73, of Enfield entered into eternal rest, on Saturday Dec. 12, 2015 at Baystate Medical Ctr., Springfield, MA. She was the beloved wife of 53 years to Paul Williams. Elaine was born on Aug. 13, 1942 in Springfield, MA, the daughter of the late Edward and Agatha (Carenzo) Wolodko. She attended schools in Enfield and was a lifelong resident. Elaine was co-owner of Williams Engineering with her husband Paul, and was responsible for the office operations.
There’s no way to describe this extraordinary women in a couple sentences. She had five children, but was a caring mother to so many. If you were hungry or tired, she had food and a bed ready. She lived for cooking and decorating for the holidays. Her traditions will never stop. She will be missed like no other.
Besides her husband Paul, Elaine is also survived by her beloved children Ed Williams and wife Kara of Montague, MA, Richard Williams and wife Robbin of Enfield, Paula Williams of Enfield, Nichole Williams and her husband Keith Stefanik of Enfield, her cherished and adored 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings Joe Wolodko and wife Linda, Irene DiMattia and husband Jerry, and David Wolodko and wife Stacy all of Enfield, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Elaine was predeceased by a son Joseph Williams.
Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Friday Dec. 18, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Enfield Food Shelf, P.O. Box 699 Enfield, CT 06083-0699.
