Cynthia A. (Koncal) Olinski, 71, of Enfield, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015 at her home. Born in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, Cynthia was the daughter of the late William and Agnes (Wabeck) Koncal. She was a graduate of Arms Academy High School and attended McCanns Technical Institute and Asnuntuck Community College. She was employed for several years with Aetna Life and Casualty in Hartford and Windsor and later worked for A.I.C in Enfield. Cynthia is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Louis A. Olinski; her daughter, Kristal Olinski of West Springfield, MA; her son, Marc Olinski and his wife, Karen of West Springfield, MA; her brothers and their spouses, Rod and Sandra Koncal, and William and Natalie Koncal both of Greenfield, MA, and Gordon and Tokiko Koncal of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Cynthia enjoyed spending time with her two special grandchildren, Nicholas Sanders and Caitlin Olinski. She enjoyed the outdoors, skiing, gardening and traveling. Cynthia had a great love of animals, especially her cat “Ziggy”. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 4:00 until 6:30 p.m. followed by a Service of Remembrance at 6:30 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, CT 06082. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Best Friends @ www.bestfriends.org, Alley Cat Allies, Northshore Shelter, Doris Day, or any other shelter of the donor’s choice.
