Sherry Ann Traskos, 64, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday (Aug. 6, 2014) at Johnson Memorial Medical Ctr., Stafford Springs, CT. She was the wife of Kenneth J. Traskos. Sherry was born on March 25, 1950 in Ft. Hunter, NY, daughter of the late William and Doris (Minch) Dufel and resided in Enfield for many years. She was employed with Hamilton Standard from 1987 – 1994.
Besides her husband Kenneth, she is survived by her three children, Kelly Traskos-Sutton (Jason) of E. Longmeadow, MA, Matthew Traskos (Jennifer) of Amsterdam, NY and Rebecca Traskos of Enfield, the true jewels in her life, were her grandchildren, Julianna & Jacob Jackson, Sydney Hykel, Connor, Trent & Haley Sutton, Kayla, Marcus, Alexis, Drew and Peyton Traskos, “They are my diamonds”. She also leaves a brother, William Dufel, Jr. and a sister, Sandy Bond both of Ft. Hunter, NY, along with many nieces and nephews. Sherry was also predeceased by a sister, Bonnie Myers. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield has been entrusted with her arrangements.
