Sr. Rosemary Zawada, passed into eternal life at the age of 92 on Sunday January 26, 2014 at Holy Family Care Center. Sr. Rosemary was 74 years with the Felician Sisters in religious life. She was born on February 1, 1921 in Staten Island, NY the daughter of the late Mark and Mary (Pyra) Zawada. She worked in the Testing Center at Our Lady of the Angels Academy in Enfield. Calling hours for Sr. Rosemary will be held on Tuesday Jan. 28, 2014 from 1:30 -4:30 p.m. at the Felician Sister’s Convent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday January 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Chapel 1315 Enfield St. Enfield, CT. Burial will follow in St. Adalbert’s Cemetery in Enfield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Felician Sister’s Retirement Fund 1315 Enfield St. Enfield, CT 06082.
