Dorothy “Dottie” (Gizara) Krawiec, of Enfield entered into eternal life at the age of 82, on Wednesday (December 12, 2012) at her home with her loving husband at her side. Dottie was the beloved wife of 48 years of John P. Krawiec. She was born in the Thompsonville section of Enfield on October 19, 1930 and was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Owczara) Gizara. Dottie was a lifelong resident of Enfield and prior to her retirement she was employed for many years at Nassau Furniture in Hartford as an Administrative Assistant.
Besides her husband John, Dottie is survived by three sisters, Frances, Nellie and Eleanor. She was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Fredrick and a sister Stella.
Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd, Enfield on Friday December 14, 2012 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St Adalbert Cemetery, Enfield.
