Eleanor A. Krzys, 89, passed on Monday, October 29, 2012 at Johnson Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of Enfield, Eleanor was the daughter of the late John and Katherine Krzys. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the Accounting Department of the former Bigelow Sanford Carpet Co. and then Kaman Aircraft. Eleanor was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and UCONN Woman’s basketball.
Eleanor is survived by her loving sister, Freda K. Misiaszek of Enfield and two nieces and one nephew. She was predeceased by her sister, Frances Krzys and brothers, John, Joseph and Stanley Krzys.
Relatives and friends may gather with the family during calling hours Saturday November 3, 2012 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM in St. Adalbert Church 90 Alden Ave. Enfield. Interment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery. Memorial donation may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
